My research is focused on fast algorithms for the stable perception and interpretation of sensory signals.
My main point is that networks of spiking neurons can realize a robust estimation. This dynamical coherence
detection scheme can be applied to stereo vision and
segmentation tasks. Earlier work was done on the
dynamics of autoassociative neural networks
and on solitons in the alpha-helix.
